Honestly, this chapter didn't help me much. I can already distinguish the differences between quoting, summarizing, and paraphrasing. This stuff has been shoved down my throat since high school. Also, I feel like this chapter rehashed what was read in the McGraw-Hill Handbook.

I did, however, like that the chapter talked about how if a citation is incorrect, it could lead to your paper being plagiarized.

In the end, I'll probably end up referring back to Purdue OWL for citation references and formats. It'd be tedius to go back into the Bedford Book of Genres just to look up how to cite a certain source.
