So, it was nice that this chapter was shorter than others in the past. It makes for easy reading.
I am not surprised that this chapter talks about remixing genres, as that is what we are doing in project 3. The checklist is quite helpful and I'll probably be referring back to it once I start working on the project more.
Even though the information about revising papers and peer review is always helpful, I feel like its been said before. Throughout high school and now college, we've all had to revise a paper. Obviously, some people have revised more than others and the first time or two, its a difficult process. I can't think of a specific time where I've been taught in class how to revise a paper. It's usually turns out to be a trial and error process to figure out the best way to revise your own writing. At this point in my educational career, it's slightly redundant reading tips and tricks for upgrading my writing because of the many times I've had to do research on my own to upgrade my papers. However, I find it very informative that the book does talk about it in case people reading the chapter never had the chance to revise their own papers in previous classes.
Overall, this chapter wasn't so horrible after all and will definitely assist us in not only the revision process but project 3 as well.
